Zayas, Bakery Production Manager at Holland Farms Bakery and Deli
insures the freshness and quality of all the bakery goods sold in
our store at 50 Oriskany Boulevard, Yorkville NY. He and his staff
of seven bake from scratch, very early morning to mid- afternoon,
to insure freshness and availability of all our products no matter
what time of day you come in to make a purchase. Ramon, who owned
Donato's Bakery, has over 25 years of baking experience having learned
his craft in several Utica bake shops. He is in the Guinness Book
of Records for his 1993 making of the largest jelly bun in the world.
SPEAKING OF JELLY BUNS.....
Holland Farms' Jelly Buns are squishy, soft, over-filled with black
raspberry jelly, and rolled in confectionery sugar...or glazed...or
left plain. We are well known for these tempting buns....which are
featured every February  during
Jelly Bun Month. In the month of February 2005 alone over 62,000
of these delectable treats were sold, including Heart Shaped Jelly
Buns made for Valentine's Day.
But Jelly
Buns are only a small part of our scratch bakery products. Baked for
your eating pleasure are buttery Danish, frosted cinnamon buns, many
varieties of muffins including Pumpkin, Raspberry Swirl, Chocolate
Chip, Apple Cinnamon, as well as Corn, Blueberry and Bran. Our featured
cookies include both soft and crunchy chocolate chip, butter crunch,
frosted butter or carrot, fig, oatmeal, molasses and our unique to
Central New York, Half Moons. We make two crust fruit pies and cream
pies topped with fresh whipped cream. We also use fresh whipped real
cream in our cream puffs and eclairs. Everyday a wide variety of donuts
are made for your enjoyment...Glazed, Frosted (chocolate and vanilla),
Apple Fritters, Bavarian Filled, as well as 4 varieties of old-fashioned
donuts.

When you order your wedding cake from Holland Farms, you will
talk with one if our cake decorators or with an experienced
clerk, who can help you design the wedding cake of your dreams.
You can choose from a photo book of cakes we have done in
the past, or you can bring in a picture, photo, or sketch
of the cake you want and we will do our best to duplicate
it. We can help you to design a cake that will compliment
your wedding decor. Delivery is possible within a 20 mile
radius of our store on Oriskany Blvd. in Yorkville, and one
of our experienced staff members will assemble your cake at
your reception site...ready for you and
your guests to enjoy. Fifty years of experience will help

Notes:
We are able to do up to 3 wedding cakes each weekend. If your
wedding is at a busy time of year, reserve your space, now.
A deposit of 1/2 the total cost is required when ordering
a wedding cake. This deposit is refundable up to 1 week before
the wedding. All wedding cakes must be paid for at least 1
week before the wedding. Deliveries beyond the 20 mile limit
will be priced accordingly.
